I <3 October

But really. It’s my favorite month. Leaves are changing, I get to wear sweaters, apples and chrysanthemums are everywhere…I also might love spookiness and Halloween, as @jacobcb noticed and meme’d. OH! And we’ve been in school just long enough that we get to stop talking about structures as much and just doing all the cool things that they support.

My Monday was fairly quiet. @ryanshollenberger went on a field trip with @douglasawesome and @adengamer ; @ninablanco and her friend made pasta and ricotta from scratch with @legolad22 @kingthanos and @pinkpanda ; I hung out upstairs with everyone who was left. Tuesday I “helped” (she didn’t really need it) @pinkpanda finish sewing her mermaid costume in between philosophy, wikitrails, and geoguesser. I proposed that we explore Halloween in philosophy, and we ended up exploring possible reasons so many different cultures have festivals for the dead. The conversation was really juicy for me…and we ended by introducing @douglasawesome to the Monster Mash!

The rest of the week has been a blur. I helped @thewitchqueen908 start creating an adventure map for a story-telling game, made some seashell earrings, read more Frankenstein aloud, showed the movie “Secondhand Lions,” laughed a lot at @jacobcb ‘s memes, worked on my headstand in the first weekly partner acrobatics class, went on Jacob’s trip to see Dracula Untold, attended the Philosophy of Dictatorship discussion today, and have been getting caught up on blogging.

Now I’m going to upload media to this website, since it seems @drew prefers that to my [amazing] hyperlinks to tumblr.
